DESCRIPTION:Jimmy Ellis Bio Having started singing and playing drums at 11\, and becoming a top 40 radio disc jockey at age 16\, there’s little wonder why Jimmi’s such a versatile and charismatic entertainer. \nFrom the first song whether it’s Brooks & Dunn\, the Eagles\, Elvis\, Huey Lewis or Rare Earth\, you’re in for a fun ride as you’re taken on a high energy musical journey of both current and classic country\, oldies\, and rock. \nHearing Is Believing! \nIf you’ve ever felt Las Vegas entertainment was dead… think again! \nIt’s rare anymore to find a performer such as Jimmi Ellis who puts as much emotion\, raw energy and excitement into each and every song. \nFor nearly 2 years Jimmi\, and his previous band Flashback\, played to nearly capacity crowds at Club Fortune Casino in Henderson. For New Years Eve 2018 Jimmi and his band were personally chosen by Club Fortunes general manager to be the headlining act. \nJimmi Ellis has been a featured performer\, and winner of the male vocalist contest at the Folsom\, Ca. July 4th rodeo in 2002\, as well as a top 10 Elvis tribute artist on Fremont street three years in a row and a third place Elvis tribute artist in Laughlin\, NV. \nThrough the years Jimmi’s performed in the main showroom of the Stardust Casino and lounge\, Sam’s Town Casino\, The Union Plaza\, Palace Station and The Gold Coast to mention a few. \nWhile a radio disc jockey in Sacramento Jimmi has also emceed and hosted some of the biggest names in country music including: Vince Gill\, Randy Travis\, Charlie Daniels\, Sawyer Brown\, Collin Raye\, Merle Haggard and more. \nRegardless of the venue or musical genre…. \nJimmi Ellis does more than just entertain\, he touches hearts and souls of all ages!
